Meet Melvin S. McCarthan Jr.
I began working with technology at age 16 and quickly developed a passion for helping people solve computer problems. At age 20, I became a Microsoft Certified Professional. I later earned my CompTIA Security+ certification and started my first business at age 23.
Over the years, I have helped people of all ages throughout South Carolina’s Lowcountry, Florida, Georgia, and other states achieve their technology goals.
My education and certifications include:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems and a Certificate
of Concentration in Software Development from Champlain College - Associate Degree in Engineering Technology / Electronics Technology from
the Technical College of the Lowcountry - Microsoft Certified Professional

We were looking for a way to upgrade an 4 year old pc notebook to handle the high demands of video editing. We thought about buying a used mac and even looked at the prices of new ones but settled eventually on upgrading the pc with new ram and hard drive. As an avid do it yourselfer I looked up all the parts and tools needed and was ready to dive in. By chance I called Melvin for some advice and his price was so competitive I couldn’t really pass on having a professional do it.
